That whole saga is probably one of the most discussed topics among my coworkers and I, and we always talk about just how impressive that machine turned out to be. If steel skirts are extended down to encompass the tracks, that thing would make short work of ANY modern force which does not have anti-armor ordnance or aviation. Imagine the thing with Claymore mines attached to the front plow, the side skirts, and rear plate, improved visibility on all sides via video and infrared feeds, and the cabin equipped with foot operated butterfly doors for a rifleman just like the foot operated gun ports on the Confederate ironclad CSS Virginia. Just one single unit can mop up any number of armed leftist insurrectionists or any combat entity who does not have man-portable armor crunchers. Reminds me of the coal trucks converted into APCs in Eric Flint's 1632 series of novels.
