Suppressors TRG-22 / Omega suppressor

I use to be on here when I bought my TRG but no idea what my user name was. So back to being new again.
I am looking at getting an Omega suppressor for my TRG-22 (.308)
Threaded barrel M18X1.0...problem is suppressor comes in 5/8-24 and nothing listed for an adapter. Not a chance I modify my barrel. I see several places offer adapters/threaded brakes for their own suppressor.
My question is-- will I have any issues with a non Omega adapter.?
I know what everyone is thinking!
The dealers in my area are worthless in answering questions let alone selling anything or allowing me to have a suppressor sent to them. With the expense and year wait for approval I dont want to have issues.
The place I am using sells a lot of Omega suppressors and best part is they have them in stock, and I can try it on my rifle to see how it looks and fits. Originally wanted the Elite Iron STFU lite.
I had the same issue buying my TRG. Nobody took me seriously about buying it. Why be a dealer if you dont want to help.

You could also go with the Area419 Hellfire system. It’s nice because you can swap between your suppressor and their hellfire brake.

+1 on this. If I were starting over I would go this route. I’ve already spent way to much money on ASR brakes at this point though.

I ordered the Omega 300 back in Feb and just received it Sept.2nd,
And never ordered an adapter. The Omega came with a asr locking collar in 5/ 8-24, Will that hellfire adapter adapter work? It says it's a bit longer than the other thread sizes because of the M18 threads.
During that wait period I built an LR308 with threaded barrel so I want to be able to swap the can without changing adapters.

In order to use the Area419 System you would have to change out ASR collar on your Omega.

Like @skatz11 said above, you can use the 419 system provided you remove the ASR mount on the Omega. If your only use is the TRG or other precision rifles, the 419 system might make more sense. But if you're going to use it on gas guns as well, I would consider keeping the ASR mount (that's what I do since my Omega sees use on multiple platforms).

The other issue I have with the 419 system - for the Omega specifically - is their adapter does NOT have a blast baffle. The TBAC adapter does, but the Omega does not. I can't back it up with data, but I personally want a blast baffle as the gas comes out of the muzzle.

I have swapped my Omega over to use the Griffin Armament taper mount system. They sell an adapter that takes the place of the ASR mount in the can and then you put their brake attach devices on your barrels and can swap around as desired. This also makes it shorter and lighter than the original with ASR mount. The prices are a lot better than most and availability is great. I have swapped all of my stuff over to the taper mount system and have been that way for a couple of years and have no regrets and see no down side. Does their system have the carbon lock problem that the ASR mount has? From what I've read, the ASR mount has a taper too, but sometimes I have a hell of a time trying to get the can off. I just keep the spanner wrench in the same pelican case as the can, but it can still be frustrating.

I have gone as many as 500 rounds and never had a problem with carbon lock in the least. It's almost the same design as the TBAC tapered brakes. They are just a little cheaper and more in stock and in more thread dimensions. I also use a thread lube on them periodically, as I do with my TBAC stuff.
