TRG22 or LMT-LM8

Some of you may have seen some of my threads asking questions about the TRG22. I'm really debating canceling my order on an LMT LM8 and going with a TRG instead. I have a JP LRP-07 with 5.5-22 and was thinking an LMT with a 2.5-10 scope might make a nice pairing with the JP. Now I'm wondering if dropping to a little lower powered scope on the JP and making a TRG my precision rifle might make more sense. It sounds like even with the 16" barrel and collapsible stock, the LMT is a long way from handy.

Opinions?

If you already have a semi-308 and not a precision bolt rifle then absolutely cancel the LMT.

I'd personally get the AI MkIII, but a lot of guys love the TRG so there's no issues owning one of those.

perfect advice, this is coming from 2 guys who have damn near tried everything under the son.

cancel lmt and get trg or aiae for sure

i have both a TRG 22 in 308 and an LMT MWS. I my opinion for a precision rifle the TRG 22 wins hands down. The LMT is not even close. Especially in your case when you already have an excellent 308 platform. I'd cancel the order for the LMT LM8.

I have had 1 or 2 rifles in my time and I also say TRG!
