I'm interested in what weights you set your triggers to. Please specify hunting or precision rifle and your preferred trigger "break" weight.

Hunting = 3 pounds
Precision = 2.5 pounds

I like all my bolt action rifles to be around 2 lbs.

Levers and autos, I don't mess with their triggers.

I know service rifle has a 4.5# minimum. Do any of the other disciplines that y'all participate in? Or do you just select your weight based on experience?

I had my RB trigger set for 1# on my SPS V 308, 90% precision rifle 10% hunting = moose/bear hunt next week. Its been on a gauge several times over the 1.5 years I have used it and it still breaks right at 1#. I have dropped it on the butt several times and has never went snap. It took awhile to get use to the 1# but now I like the weight, not sure I want to use a heavier # now but I must with new stick coming soon. I have no idea what my new stick's trigger will be set at but it will be nothing but a precision safe queen.
