Gunsmithing Trigger Upgrade for Rem 700

I’m looking for a solid two stage trigger. The Geissele looks nice and I don’t mind spending the money (though I’ll have to save a bit for that one).

What do have, why did you choose it and are you happy with it.

Also , can it be installed safely and easily by the owner.

if you want two stage maybe a Huber

Different triggers can affect trigger timing resulting in significant change in cock on close. If you're planning to have a smith install the trigger and adjust the timing, make sure your pinfall is adequate.

This is quite a can of worms to make all aspects of a trigger correct but if you do it, a remington can run as smooth as a custom.

Often the preference of one brand over anothe is just how the trigger timing fits the rifle.

If you're ok with cock on close (some are) and all you want is to change your trigger, then carry on.
