Very very unlikely to be a trigger issueMy TT seems to have a flaw in it. If I slap the bolt closed when the trigger is set below about 8 oz. my gun discharges.
Now that winter is here, it will need to go back to TT and see what they say.
EDIT: I just got off the phone with Ed and he said that it will probably be about a week turn around time.
He didn't have the slightest hesitation about replacing the unit. So that is just one more thing that I like my Vudoo for. Quality has no regrets.....
I run all of my guns the same way. I tend to slap them around with my fingers and thumb. The Annies and CZ 457s. The Annies are factory set at 6.38 oz. and my CZs are set to 9 oz. with a trigger spring lighter than theYoDave spring.Very very unlikely to be a trigger issue
TT diamond is the most common culprit of this issue. Cause people run them super light. They cant pass drop tests. And everyone expects to just run the bolt as hard as possible and not have issues
Has anyone tried out the tt two stage trigger? If so, what's the verdict?
They had them at the GAP Grind. They are outstanding! My wallet hates TT. ?
I have single stage Diamonds in all my guns. I had a 2-stage Timney before. The TT is much, much better IMHO.

I know, right? The wallet don't want to spend the money, but I would like one for my hunting rifle. They had them at the GAP Grind. They are outstanding! My wallet hates TT. ?

not saying they cant be safe. but ive seen/heard of them fail drop and hard bolt use more than anything else by a long shot. and that includes builds by very very well known smithsI don’t run mine lower than 1.5-1.25lbs. But I’ve turned all of them down to 6oz or so and on about 6 rifles, they all have passed drop tests.
In fact, other than an AI factory set at 3lbs or over, triggertech Diamond has been the only trigger I haven’t been able to get to fail a drop test without literally throwing it like a spear into a tile floor.
What features does the trigger have? Adjustable stage travel? Adjustable sear engagement?
Does anybody know what the weight limits will be on the two stage units? Same as the Single stage Diamond?Yes and yes.
The test models out right now are as follows:Does anybody know what the weight limits will be on the two stage units? Same as the Single stage Diamond?
Both sound great to me....The test models out right now are as follows:
Diamond stage 1 and 2: 2oz to 18oz, 3 to 32 oz
Special Stage 1 and 2: 8 to 24oz, 8 to 32oz
I dont run my Vudoo fast or hard but after reading this, i tried it as fast as i could 3-4 times with no problems. Bix n Andy 2 stage 3 oz total.Very very unlikely to be a trigger issue
