I bought a Triggertech for my LRP07 and was about to do the switch. Quickly realized that the JP trigger assembly mounts differently than other ARs I have worked on. I searched online but can't find any instructions or videos on how to remove the JP unit. I have done trigger swaps before in other ARs, but none of them were like this.

Anyone have any experience with this? Is there any reason the Triggertech unit might be incompatible with a JP?

According to the info from JP, their trigger can only go to 3.5# minimum pull weight and requires changing out springs to adjust pull weight.

The Triggertech is a cartridge design that is a one piece drop in and can be safely adjusted to as low as 1.5#. I can adjust it very light for precision shooting and then set it for 3.5# (or more, if I want) for hunting or tactical use. The adjustment is done via a small screw at the back of the trigger cartridge and only takes seconds. It can easily be done in the field.

The break and feel on the triggertech is amazing. It's right up there with my TRG-22 (often described as the best factory trigger ever made).

The only issue I had with the swap was how tight the JP trigger pins were which of course had nothing to do with the Triggertech. Once I got the pins out, the install was about as easy as could be and only took a few minutes.

I gave a Geissele Highspeed on another AR. It's a good trigger, but the Triggertech Diamond blows it away, IMHO.
