Rifle Scopes Trijicon Accupoint

Re: Trijicon Accupoint

My 3x9 is great for my hunting rig. It's FAST. The glass is great for the price. Compared to NF, Leupy and S&B, its clarity is fine/adequate. I don't go past 300 with it. I've shot half to 3/4 moa groups at 100m , I'd say good enough for a non-target type reticle.

Re: Trijicon Accupoint

The TR23R and other 5-20x50 models have only 50 moa total of internal adjustment so figure about 25moa up and same down however you can add a plus 20 moa base but a plus 30 moa base is too much. The glass in the Trijicon is very nice I did have an issue with the two lines that form the post not appearing eaven best describes as looking like they were drawn by hand by a 5 yr old however the illuminated triangle which is actually the point of aim is not affected by this and Trijicon wanted the scope back so I think the issue is how the fiber optic attaches and that it may distort the lines that form the post appearing different under different conditions. The mil dot does not suffer this abnormal appearance. The target knobs and power ring were very nice and overall I really really like the scope. The SIII is a very nice scope for the price and has plenty of internal adjustment. The Zeiss Conquest while having limited internal adjustment has reticle that can make up for it their Rapid Z1000 retice is different than everyting else out there as it starts above center which does some strange things when you drop from maximum power to the lower powers being a second focal plane scope the balistic reticle is designed to be used at maximum power. The new Vortex Razor HD may be what you are looking for on a Nightforce :

You might also consider a scope with better features but not as much power like the Super Sniper 3-9x42 FFP 1/10-mil clicks

Re: Trijicon Accupoint

I was afraid adjustment was limited, but couldn't find anything on it. I'm running the Conquest now and need more adjustment. I don't need to spend over 1K so looks like I'm back to the Sightron.

Thanks
