Just got mine yesterday and mounted it on my 6mmAR. It's to low and I have to smash my face against the stock to see through it. I have a High end rail riser coming to bring it up 1/2". For someone that has MK3 or MK2 that has mounted theirs on a bolt gun, was there any problems in the height or getting the scope back far enough to be usable and comfortable? Thanks!

I have the Mk3 35, which I originally wanted to put on my .300BO bolt gun. To get the eye relief correct, I had to buy a high ( 1" height ) extended length ( I believe it was 10" long ) riser to get it positioned rearward enough to be able see through it correctly. If you get a too low riser, you can't open the bolt. I didn't like the way it looked or operated, so I put it on a .300 BO SBR. Works great now.

I really wanted to put it on the bolt gun, as my handloads are Hollywood quiet with it, and I've got a place to hunt that the coyotes are only about 50 to 75 yards away when they come in. But, it works so much better with an AR platform with an adjustable stock. Just noisier.

I went through this, without hesitation go right to Yankee Hill Machine riser. They are best ive seen. Purchased all sorts of crap, but the YHM riser is so much stronger than any other. I junked all my first attempts.

This is a Zeus Pro instead of an IRD, but same idea, reverse mount the riser to allow the rail to extend farther to the rear.

I do ... and others do as well!!

It is a good image ... trade off is price and small FOV ... for good image and more magnification ...

Good long distance spotter.
