Hey guys,

I am looking to see if anyone has been able to replace the Wilcox Mount on the ReapIR or know of a way to mount a Red Dot to the top of it. I am wanting to mount a picatinny rail or direct mount a red dot for a backup sight. Appreciate the help. Any ideas? I currently have an offset sight on it, but would like something on top.

There was a time when I wanted to do this or put a range finder on there and never could really find a decent option. Only thing I think i could think of was to get the Wilcox flip to side mount and take the dlok mount off and put a rail on there and use it upside down. This was a while back so the remembrance pretty fuzzy though.

Interested to hear what others maybe have done too.

Yup, flip the REAPv1 upside down and mount it in a skeet mount (available on eee bay for about $250) then add a lion gears 6 slot riser to the accessory rail which is now pointing towards the sky ... and add whatever you like on the lion gears. Now an RMR is small enough you wouldn't need the lion gears riser.

Awesome. What eyepiece is that?

That's just the rubber eyepiece cup from the wilcox ... I use a custom glass/amber screw on rear filter ... but use the rubber piece from the crappy plastic wilcox as a eye socket bang guard. Probably a few layers of electrical tape would be fine as well.

What the heck is this?

ETA- it’s “Trijiconhunt” on Instagram. I’ve asked how they did it. Will report back.
