I have seen the Gray Ops multi plate and I like it. I was wondering if anyone knew of other options to check out before making a decision. I will be using it for PRS and hunting.

I've owned an Abel table in the past, and thought it was a really cool concept and a good product. Never heard of the Gray Ops unit, but checked it out and it's a pretty interesting concept I guess, but good grief look at the price. At a certain point I think you're just spending way too much money for a gadget that isn't going to offer a step change in performance over more minimal equipment and more focus on fundamentals. Of course, that is just my opinion.

I have a hard time spending that kind of money on any of these type devices. A 6"x8" piece of 0.125 aluminum can be had for $10 on ebay, and be in your mailbox in a few days. Make a trip to the hardware store, get out the drill, and go to town. Make whatever you need. Mount an Arca rail to the bottom so you can put it on top of your tripod and use it like a table. From there it's perfect for a game changer on top, and your binoculars on top of that. If you want to mount various equipment on the plate, drill a few more holes and mount some clamps on it. Use the same clamp to mount the plate to the bottom of your rifle if you really want to go full crazy.

If you're only looking to mount two optics on a tripod, there are plenty of wide Arca plates out there for cheap that will do it. Really Right Stuff makes their multipurpose rails for this kind of purpose. The one in the link is just an example, they make a bunch of styles and sizes.

Thanks for the inputs guys. I have looked at the RRS multi plates and they are not much cheaper then the Henderson one. I really like how adaptable that one is.

I don’t want to drop a bunch of money and not like it. Definitely got some thinking to do.

Repost it here in the for sale section for $15 less than you paid for it. Someone will buy it
