Tripod Spotting Scope

What are some suggestions for a tripod that will give good height for standing but will also extend to be vertually flat for prone use?

i would like to get one that does not break the bank.

Let me know some ideas.

Feisol 3372. Gets down to 3' off the ground and is plenty high at full length for anyone as tall as 6'6".

I've been using the Desmond DCF 432. It's hard for me to imagine a better tripod for the money.

Is it possible you meant 3" off the ground?

I have a 3342, great tripod for the money.

Yup, my bad! 3 INCHES!

I use a Manfrotto 055XV tripod. With the legs expanded out 90 degrees, with a short staff, a Manfrotto 701HDV head + USO spotter = 10" above ground.

Used manfrotto 190's are hard to beat.
