This is funny,... you guys have know idea what a real scope pissing contest is like.

To bad the threads from back in 2002-04 arn't here to reread, those were real scope pissing contests, that drew real blood.

Then again, those pissing back then, were not 14 year old internet band camp grads.

Yeah, me neither. We are still at war with the Krauts. And everybody knows that the so-called Leupold counterfeits are really just the scopes they don't want to bother fixing. The people who show up at their Oregon factory are just being paid to pretend to make the scopes that are really made in Shi Ting Province.

I buy American optics whenever I can. First, there just really isn't any space age difference between the higher end scopes that's somehow going to turn a mediocre shooter into Duke Nukem.

That said, someday I may have to shoot at foreigners, with no guarantee it won't be the nation that built any part of my weapon, or receive aid/support from those that did.

I could care less who has my back now...I want to know that they'll have my back when someone is shooting at it. In that light I could care less how good someone's optics are or how fancy their government subsidized factories are. I won't trust them when it matters most.

I'd rather take a lessor one (if that were <span style="font-style: italic">really </span>the case) built by my comrads, and introduce them to Allah with it
