Hey guys, still going through the stages of learning reloading. One issue that has come up while doing some ladder testing is powder throw inconsistency.

I'm using an RCBS lite dispenser with H4350 powder. My second check is a RCBS balance scale. I 'think' I have found my correct powder charge to give me a lower SD/ES, but with trying to be consistent... I can't get the two to work in harmony together. I get the RCBS calibrated and I get my balance scale leveled, but they get out of whack by a few grains within about 3-4 throws...

Anyone have a special powder dispensing method or am I being too picky about .1-.2 grain inconsistency for PRS?

I've seen it mentioned in reviews that after it warms up, it can take around 15 loads to "learn the powder". I'm not sure if this is true or not, but it only hold +/-.1 grain, so it sounds normal.
