Troubles to fit 223 AICS polymer mag into Tikka T3 Lite eqiped with DBM

Hi Everybody,

I just received my Evil Empire Carbon stock for my 223 Tikka T3 Lite, the stock is very well finished but the rifle doesn't feed with the AICS polymer mags !
It seems that the mag need to be transformed to allow a good fitting on the action.
Does some of you are running these mags on T3 DBM without troubles ? (the one installed on the Evil stock is an Atlasworks)

You should modify the mags slightly. See here:

I think I will go to the T3 receiver milling to allow the use of standard 223 AICS mags, by this way in case of pb wtih mags on a match I would be able to ask one friend to share a mag even if he is running a Rem700 or Savage...
Does some one have info about this operation to show to my gunsmith ?

The steel accurate 223 mags work great in the tikka without any mods to the mag or gun

I had to machine my T3 receiver for the AI poly mags. I'll try to take a good picture and post it soon.

T3 receiver AI mag clearance

I used a 45 degree carbide cutter to remove a little material from the bottom of my T3 receiver to provide clearance for the AI poly magazines. The material was removed between to two post-it flags and then I just used a little Van's cold blue to protect the surface.
I am using CDI bottom metal inletted into a factory T3 Varmint stock.
