I never leave guns in vehicles after the cops around here told me that how most of the criminals get their guns. Good for you

Ugh, you will be finding glass littered around for years. That was the worst part when my truck window got smashed.
Wonder if you can hook up a tiny camera somewhere that looks at the interior. Is it in the same location as the prior or just bad luck?

Wife’s friend had a soft top that kept getting cut and broken into. She started leaving it unlocked. Saved her a lot of money.

Glad they didn't get any of your firearms though. I had never really considered a gun vault in my vehicle, but that is a great idea. Since reading your post I'm shopping for one right now for both my vehicles and my work truck.

I've got nothing for a rotten fuck that wont work, wont do anything but try to take from those that work hard and tow the line to have a little bit of something. Thanks for the post though, it has helped me to realize I need a vault in my own vehicles. I dont steal and have only ever been hit once. So I often dont think of stuff like that because I dont think about the stuff a thief does. Plus I've never had a vehicle broken into, knock on wood.

That is because there is nothing worth owning in a Dodge (notice you did not say Dodge) except the Cummins engine and it weights about 1300lbs, little hard to drag off with just 2-3 people.

My line of work deals with burglaries and other crimes. I’m sure you can figure out what I do. I recommend people keep their vehicles clean and clear of anything. I mean NOTHING visible inside. I don’t care if it’s loose change or a receipt sitting on the passenger seat. Zilch.

That's some good info too 021411, never really thought about that either. I keep my personal vehicles cleared out but my work truck is unfortunately, full of tools so it would be a prime target. I should talk to my company about installing some lock boxes inside to at least make it harder to get to what I have to carry.
Yeah I’ve dealt with work trucks and utility vehicles as well. It’s all about quick and easy access. Unless it’s in an isolated area the fuckers are in and out of your vehicle in a few seconds. I’ve watched plenty of CCTV videos. They’ll make a few passes and scouting sessions before hand.
I don't think those 6.2s are supercharged, are they?
And don't sleep in the twin turbos til you've driven them, I was converted!

Did this once to a battery thief in NJ back in the 70s. Hooked a romex to the car & plugged it in. Lit his ass up at 2am!!! Cop said I could have killed him. LOL I said if I wanted to kill him I would have hooked it to the 220!!! LOL

This may sound hard to believe, but 220 isnt all that bad. We have oil wells hooked up to 220 for the electric motors. Sometimes the lines corrode and some of the lines are strung through the woods. Some of it on trees, some laying on the ground. Besides visually inspecting the entire line, i grab the line (with gloves on) and start walking. When I feel the jolt, I found the problem.
I dont fuck with 440 though. That WILL kill you.
Other countries run 220/240 as the standard household current.
That hurts when you touch it, but in my experience usually causes an involuntary reaction of all your muscles getting away from it as fast as possible.
There was this one time I was unlucky enough to get a finger stuck between the 3 prongs of a plug at 220v....... Fun times.
No video but I can tell you it involves some moisture & a steel plate covered with sand. LOL

The reason European house current (220 VAC, 50 Hz) doesn't hurt any more than our 110 is because their household circuits carry less current.
A vacuum cleaner here and in Europe all need about the same power (wattage) to run. At 110VAC, you need a higher current to generate the same power than the current you need at 220 volts.
Do not confuse the typical Euro house outlet 220 for our domestic 240 line going to the clothes dryer. You only make that mistake once.
Before the electricians here wig out, I'm ignoring (for the sake of the laymen) the difference between real and apparent power present in AC circuits. Also talking about single phase only.

Damn, that sucks. I remember a story back in the '90s about a guy's business kept getting broken into through the roof, he suspended some expanded metal below the thief's entry spot. Plugged it into something, don't remember if it was just 110, 220, etc., seems like he didn't have a breaker/fuse just direct wired, but it killed the fucker, and he got a manslaughter conviction. Fuckin' lawyers, and prosecutors won't let a guy have any fun.
I like you style! I get shocked so often at work I like seeing an asshole get lit up good. I've gotten used to it, 120/240vac usually does tend to throw you off of it unless your really well grounded or in a spot you cant get away from it. It still makes me mad as hell when I get hit, every time.
Worst I've ever had was 208/230vac hooking up lighting in the ceiling of the Infineon Processor plant in Ashland, VA. The wire was hot and hanging loose, I was about 7ft up a 10ft step ladder and i got the back of my neck against it and the wire stuck to me. Burned the hell out of me and i fell of the ladder like a big stupid ass. Was the only way i could get away from it. That was some good treatment.
As an engineering officer on a nuke carrier I often would walk past the 4160V switchgear on my rounds.

Well when you're standing on a metal plate over a water puddle with the hood open & if it does throw you off you split your head wide open. Ask me how I know. LOL Wish I had a camera then.
