Rifle Scopes Truglo scope

I'm looking in to getting a variable power "tactical" type scope. I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down to either of these two.

The Millett DMS1 (which I have found a lot of people saying good things about)

Or the Truglo TG8531BXB

Anyone know anything about the Truglo?

TruGlos are an OK scope and available on special from Natchez.
Realize that the high power variables gray out above 14-16X, but I bought one for my 22RF. It's a $70 scope and that's what you get.

My rule of thumb is to always pay more for the optics than the rifle.
$700 rifle, $2000 scope, 1/2 MOA.
