Gunsmithing Truing Winchester Receivers

If any of you do the above regularly, or have it down pat, I would like to hear about your method. Remmies are easy to hold, as they are basically a tube.

I have been considering various ideas of chucks, fixtures, and alien technology to facilitate truing M70s. I had an LA in the lathe yesterday that was not being very cooperative. I got it, but it was a PITA.

Action blueprint jig or make your own.How are you tueing 700's? Are you just chucking them in a 4 jaw?

I made one like that. It worked fine on the SA but the LA was running out of room in the chuck area.

For the 700s I made something like the one that Roscoe showed on one of his posts.

I am toying with the idea of making a chuck with multiple adjustment points.
