Look at Adam Schiff and Jerry "fatass" Nadler , they would let our enemies in and turn over our government so they could save their own necks. That would instantly drive the price of land/houses (however you define voting rights) up even further
longer term you would have bloomberg and soros money buy up everything
I don't see it working out as well as it did when the US had far fewer people and far less wealth

The "Lefting" of federal agencies started in the Clinton administration and went into overdrive in the Obama administration. Instead of promoting field agents; they started placing friends, political allies and like minded thinkers into the top slots of all federal agencies. Who then proceed to hire their friends, political allies and like minded thinkers. So on and so fourth. Wash rinse repeat for a couple decades and you have a federal goverment made up of mostly all democrats.

Very much like in Atlas Shrugged, we, the hard working, responsible, tax paying, law abiding, moralistic minority are the ones who are funding and making the rule of those that hate us possible. Every day you work hard and pay taxes and "do your duty" you are funding the machine that wants to destroy you.

The government's predictable frantic response of sending troops of "just following orders" types to "requisition" supplies, will only make things crash faster as the producers ensure nothing of use is left to confiscate, good luck asking your army to try farming the fields. For the simple reason that "property" owners in the largest cities (NY, LA, SF,Chicago, etc.) will not change their voting preferences. They will continue to vote along liberal paths. They have to in order to prevent being overrun by the large factions of poor that also inhabit the large cities. If we reverted to this, we (conservatives), would lose handily. Add to this the large liberal suburbia surrounding said cities and we are fucked.

Times are different today and I disagree that there is a path back to the old days. I also disagree that I would want to revert to the old days relative to medicine and other important facets of modern living. We need a new way forward which may include some of the facets of life from by gone days. However, in its final form, it will be little resemblance to the past.

We’re so saturated with information that we’ve forgotten how to read people. We’ve forgotten how to engage our critical faculties. That is the problem with America today. People used to be informed. I've found those that have no skin in the game will always vote their wallet for short term goals, vs what is better for their kin after they are gone. When we moved out the people that bought it inked paper for 30 years at 850.00 a month. I redid the home take off list, an that days dirt price the total came to 47K. For 47K hip National they could have built that same home but they chose the easy way out, aka how much a month?
