FDR was admired for his 'fire side chats' talking straight to the public. Yet the same folks who put him on a pedestal are outraged buy Trumps tweeting, essentially doing the same thing in a modern context. Everyone who comes after- D or R, will follow his lead. He permanently changed how it all works.
