This statement is not correct.

Political parties and governments can request proof of natural born birth. The state department has its own investigative team to handle this.

A private citizen has no standing in court to request the birth certificate or tax records of a candidate or sitting president.

As far as I know, no actual government entity or political party sued for Obama’s birth certificate. Only individuals who were dismissed due to no standing.

The cases for Trump’s tax returns are being initiated by governments and such. Not individuals.

In Massachusetts there is the option to pay state taxes at a higher rate that used to be charged before the voters demanded it be lowered to the current rate.

Voluntarily you can check a box and your taxes are calculated at 6.25 rather than 5.25 or some such rates.

Every year a local radio personality checks the public filings of our tax obsessed politicians like John Kerry and Liz Warren and you know what? They dont voluntarily pay more taxes that are to be used "for the children".

At least Trump was honest that our tax system is set up to favor those that have the means to avoid paying and that he does everything he can to pay less.

the point of this is that for the last 50years everycandidate who made it through primaries has released their taxes.
