Try and wrap your head around this video.

i love those type videos.

im a numbers/ math guy so i get it, but the actual size is unfathomable

of course the regular questions pop up..what are we expanding into etc

last paper i read showed the universe has a minimum of 10,000 stars per grains of sand on earth

i think the number of stars was 70 septillion or 7^23 (23 zeros)

the size just doesnt make sense

Astrophysics is some crazy shit to try to get your head around. Most are blissfully unaware of the insignificance and have no interest in exploring that thought path. The more your learn about the subject and expand your thought process, the better off you are. Neil Degrasse Tyson (black science guy) wrote a book in plain language to give an overview to beginners that is actually decent.

Once you have an experience of the infinite and eternal, size, distance, and time, all become irrelevant, except in temporal matters. In the absolute they have no meaning at all. Note I said 'and experience of' and not 'understand'. You cannot understand the infinite with the finite mind, but you are able to have a direct experience of it.

What cracks me up is when they try to give you 'Multiple universes'. The whole meaning of 'uni' is one. There can only be one universe, it may have a multiple dimensional capability or many 'sub verses', but one is one.

God damn Maggot. You just blew my mind! 🤯

Interesting, makes you wonder if we are alone.
Often wondered about that.

Most would say that "we're not, it's small minded to think that in enormous space, we are "it".

Another theory is that we may never know as by the time we develop the tools for long distance travel, we will likely have killed off ourselves via some man made cause. (nuclear, biological, etc).

There is no way in the vastness of the supposed universe that we are alone. We are not that special. People really need to get over themselves

We do not posses the sensory organs to even know all that is around us. Vision and hearing for instance, we only sense a small portion of those frequencies.

It’s Just a ride- Bill Hicks

Enjoy it, and fuck those the try to ruin the good times!

What always blows my mind is the genesis of it all. At some point there was nothing inside nothing surrounded by nothing. The first thing to ever exist had nothing and nowhere to exist into. With it came simultaneously time, space, and matter. If something can exist into nothing spontaneously, there could be an infinite number of universes existing completely independently of each other and in space completely unconnected. 🤯

The word fit when it was put in to use. Now it necessarily needs a revision. Multiverse is what ive heard some Cosmologists use lately.

Just like the big bang. No longer thought of as the first event, just an event, which they can’t see beyond at this point.

But still, all those 'multi verses' must exist within one infinite 'uni verse'.
