Re: Turrents?
I guess I don't let that stuff bother me, same goes for people interchanging clips and magazines. I know what they mean, they know what they mean so what makes the difference. Lots of words get misspelled, misused or maybe the person just didn't know any better.
As long as people are shooting and having fun it don't matter to me if they use the correct terminology for an item in our conversation as long as they are pro gun and being safe. At least they are out there trying and not trying to take away the thing we all enjoy.
It's just as easy to use the correct terminology in your post of conversation with someone that has misused it. They may see the correct wording and no one will be embarrassed and the person that wanted to blurt out how stupid the other was for not knowing won't get to feel the satisfaction of being a know it all.
There are lots of things in the world that bug us but life is too short to get our panties in a bunch over little things like a misused word even though you'd like to reach out and Bitc% slap the person that just asked you how to use his turrents on his new gun with a 5 round clip and a new brake.
