The one thing to keep in mind is that it is now friday night so those coming may not have enough ammo loaded to do both and not have enough time to load more.

Having options are a plus though.

We will be shooting the short Saturday and the long on Sunday as the schedule says. After the match shooters can decide what they wish to do. As always, after a match if we have time and normally we do shooters shoot from benches of go up to position one and get dope...or shoot the short course again.

Tom,

Are you going to shoot this weekend? If so are you shooting the 260 or the Hulk?

I also have a Hart portable shooting bench if someone needs me to bring it along.

If I have time to load bullets I will shoot the Hulk. Been covered up with mowing and weed wacking. Jim C. helped today. The short course looks great..everything tight and painted. Long course is taken care of too.

Well today was a small group with one new guy. Karl and Chris cleaned the course. I'll upload a few pics tomorrow, to tired tonight. Nice shooting guys next time it the 6mm's turn.

I liked the tie breaker. We should do that more often. I'm trying to decide between my AR with irons or not or same .223 as today. Either way,I'm going to use more position shooting. This is for my personal challenge. Today everyone shot well in my opinion.

Well another weekend closes and now its time to start reloading for the next match. I agree on the more position shooting but I'll wait until I clean it once. Here is the tie breaker.

We..the shooters and I..were just talking about that today.
I've been working on it and will post it sometime tomorrow when I get a chance. Have to look at the calendar to add and adjust some events around. I have some LE training to schedule around our events also.

Thanks to all who showed this weekend... we had a blast as always.

Great job today by tellus and Wayde. Wayde has came a long way in this type of shooting since he first shot here. This is the part I enjoy most..watching shooters evolve into precision shooters. The fun and experience we have here is what keeps our shooting sports alive. We must pass it on as often as we can. New shooters are coming out of the wood work and shooting all thru the week now at TVP thanks to several of the shooters spreading the word.

Back to Wayde. Wayde broke a clay bird at 1000 yards Saturday on the first shot! Should've seen the smile he had.

Congrats to all who cleaned the Short Course, especially my Bro. Good shooting!

However, I was very disappointed to see the tie breaker was not a dance-off ...

Maybe next time.

Well,here we are at the last weekend in May. There has been a lot of good shooting at TVP. The double-double is here. I'm wondering how many are going to show for this event. This should be fun. Weather is going to be good. I have my teammate. We each have our 64+ cartridges loaded. We are ready.

Is anybody else ready for this weekend?

I remember, and still stop by to see.
Most were not born yet.

How much have you learned?

I was planning on shooting Sunday but, my niece is graduating. Looks like I'm out until July. Have fun!

Just got back.
You missed a great time!
We tried something new, yesterday afternoon, and had a blast!
One shot one hit.(Team)
Only 16 rounds for course.(per shooter)
10 point bonus for fastest time per station.

A fast pace to engage four targets.
Several teams did in under two min.
Some lost points by seconds!

I was not sure if you liked the other format. I'm glad you did. Talk about being forced to think and act fast. That was it. We did not use time or ammo.

Even though I scored the lowest,I had fun.

Van,

While setting up I was trying to memorize my next three scope settings.
Trying to get on the next target without slowing down John was tough!
Cleaning station three, with a team time of 1:57 made the heart beat and the sweat roll.
Can't wait to do it again!

Yea I remember Tom, I just didn't want to screw up anything for anyone that was shootting all four matches. It was my choice, should have just came up.
