TCA4570-
Your camera takes pretty good pictures.I'm impressed. It can also take pictures that make me look 130 pounds heavier.I'll keep on telling myself,"Its trick photography...Glen got a special lens to do that...Damn."
You're correct I did say 10 MOA down.Thats what I understood as the blue and orange ribbons. They were about 3 +/- feet apart. But they were down from the dirt.Below the upsidedown "T".I followed the tracks down.If you listen to one of the videos,I asked,"2100 yards?".Tom replied,"2400".
Makes sense.
Communication counts.In a big way.
Practice counts.
Knowing what the rifle is capable of counts.
Knowing the load that you are shooting counts too.
I am not mentioning the other variables with the surroundings.
I don't know if anybody noticed--I got Josh my .308 from my truck to use.
What did he do with it?
How did he do?
Josh shot steel.He did well.
What was MY mistake?
I should have been using my .308 all day long.I should have been using a load I know, with a rifle I know.Stages 3 and 4 I switched to another load.I started scoring from there.I could go on with my mistakes, but why bore anybody with that.I only hope I remember them the next time I am shooting with all of you.I'm going to start working on the practice.
Practice for Sunday.
