Two Courts Rule That The Machine Gun Ban Is Unconstitutional

USGI M16A1/A2 in full trad config with irons and carrying handle would be extremely sought after by collectors and people who just like to keep it all trad. How much anyone wants to bet that there are more of them sitting crated up in an Army storehouse than had been scrapped? One of these days if everything goes well, we can see them offered by CMP at reasonable price.

Seriously, an A1 or A2 would be as closest to an all-around rifle for everything as one can get.

Ranch rifle
Horseback, saddle, ATV/UTV, boat/canoe carry
Bedside gun
Range plinker
Small-medium game
Mantel/wall display
Camp/hike tote around

You name it, and a A1/A2 would fit the role.

The A1 was iconic! There's something just sexy about the triad. When I was a kid, they had an A-Team toy one in the Sears Wishbook that I wanted so badly. It sold out quickly and my parents ended getting me the AK. Built a clone parts gun once, but wasn't the same as having a genuine Colt and definitely not the same as having an authentic FA one. I'd buy one in a second!

I think at this point we'd just like to see them back on the NFA, and honestly I'd consider it a win.

How about we remove suppressors from the NFA, and allow machine guns again? This way we don't overload the poor inspectors doing stamps all day.

Maybe, but coming from CMP, the reasonable price would be questionable .................

I don't even object to a strenuous background check...

The background check system is the most daily abused system going. Why are otherwise intelligent gun owners, so damn uniformed.

I have sat in legislative committees and listen to testimony from people who have been snagged by technicalities brought forth by this background check system, that is just completely abused.

It is the very example and reason why many of us are against red flag laws. We’ve seen what’s happened with the background check system.

The anti gunners plan has always been to get the background checks. Then EXPAND, EXPAND, EXPAND the list of excluded people.

“strenuous”…..Judas freakin priest.

Fine… let everyone have everything and Darwin will take care of the rest!!

I’m ok with that. An armed society is a polite society. Bet folks are even more polite when everyone has an M249!!!

No arguments from me!!!

I myself waited 1-1/2 years for a can and finally had to get our Senator involved. It wasn’t because I had a problem with my background check. I already had three cans. It was because of government inefficiency and delay. And “a right delayed is a right denied”.

Another time my can was delayed an extra 3 months due to the government shutdown and only essential government services running.

Apparently, your rights are not considered “essential” by the government.

Pretending that the background system actually is stopping crime and not hurting law abiding citizens is just a fallacy.

If a criminal wants a suppressor, they’ll get one. If a criminal wants an automatic weapon, they’ll get one. They certainly won’t go through the background check system.

The 2A fight isn’t about reasonableness, it’s about a war. It’s about both sides moving the line. The other side doesn’t want to be reasonable. They want to pretend to be reasonable, so we’ll let our guard down.

Background checks was one of the biggest ways that we ever let our guard down. And now they’re pushing state by state to get universal background checks for the same reason, to get the exclusions, then expand, expand, expand the excluded people.

I was talking to a gun owner at our range and we were talking about some other country. I told him that “yeah in that country they have guns but they can deny you having your right to have a gun if you have bad credit”. To my surprise, he was agreeable with that. He thought that if you had bad credit, you should lose your gun rights. 😳

BTW didn’t Trump just lose his gun rights?

He has some repeat information but expands on the previously discussed Hollis Decision in other videos. Keep in mind that Hollis was decided before Bruen. That should mean that Hollis doesn’t apply but that’s not how judges think.

There's a bill that was introduced in the house recently to do just that.

It'll probably die, or maybe we'll get lucky and then Dem's will bring up the United Healthcare CEO hit and will turn in to a propaganda shit show.
