Join the contestI added them to help with balance, mine are on a 22lr so not really concerned about weight. However I removed mine to install the adjustable butt plate and maintain the same LOP for my daughters.Looking at the pictures it appears that some have added the weighted shims to the rear of the stock. Would like to hear your thoughts on if this helped with some of the recoil when changing to the Bravo stock. I see that they offer a set of three at a fair price.
I use them on all my W3s. I have three trim levels I use, and I use weights and spacers differently depending on what I'm doing:Looking at the pictures it appears that some have added the weighted shims to the rear of the stock. Yes all 3 of mine did, however on the 1st one I went to remove with a small screwdriver like you mentioned it didn’t want to come out. So I just drilled it. The plugs are perfectly good to reuse with a small hole in the center, NBD IMO...My cheek piece has notches for a small flat head screwdriver to pop the plugs out, doesnt everone elses?
Contact KRG. They will supply what you need. Thanks for posting this and doing the research. I just ordered the parts. I wonder if there is a source for the aluminum pins so you don't need to dis-assemble your old cheek rest.
Knock, knock ...That is awesome! We'll try to add a plug for that hole to our next mold if we can. Thank you guys very much for your business and enthusiasm

I think I did call KRG when I came up with this idea and they just told me to remove the ones out of the original cheek piece.
Any update on this?Has anyone or KRG came up with a plug for the hole below the cheek riser?
