Ultralight 6.5 muzzle brake

Looking for some recommendations for an ultralight muzzle brake to go on a 6.5 SAUM hunting rifle. So far the Christensen arms titanium brake and the Piercision arms titanium brake are at the top of my list.

Any other suggestions?

I have both the 5 port Piercision and the APA Gen 3. For a 6.5 SAUM hunting rifle I would probably choose the 5 port Piercision. I felt that the Piercision reduced a little more recoil than the APA Gen 3. I have the Gen 3 on my PRS rifle however because it produces a more neutral sight picture in recoil than the Piercision. The Piercision definitely had more muzzle rise than the Gen 3 but its overall recoil reduction was excellent IMO.

This would be a good option.

Another great option, especially on a hunting rig were you don't want any percussion/blast directed back at the shooter, would be the aluminum Heathen.

They've tested their aluminum brakes with thousands and thousands of rounds, so durability on a hunting rifle would be a non-issue. Really light and great features.

180rds in, and I'm seeing no wear. But I'm keeping an eye in it. My thought was, it's dedicated to my hunting rifle, which after velocity stabilizes (it just did), will not be shot alot.
I replaced a Hellfire with this, and was amazed at how this little bit of weight reduction hanging on the end of the barrel made a significant difference in balance and portability.

I've got 2 of Ryan's brakes on my rifles. One on my 25 Creed comp gun and another on the 28 Nosler he built for me. Both are great, but trying to go as light as possible with the brake for this hunting rifle. Wish he'd have made a 2 or 3 port brake in titanium.

I have and like my Ti Beast on 6.5CM. A couple kids at the range had no problem taking shots, and I was able to spot my own shots all day.

We really like the BEAST brakes. I have not used the Ti one yet but the regular 5 port one tames down my 300 RUM very nicely.

Insite brakes are nice, but I can't see where the extra $100 is spent? I think the PVA is probably the best value considering weight, price & performance.

Not sure where your prices are coming from. PVA is $135-145 and the Heathen is $170.

It works identically as the regular steel version which is amazing. Great recoil reduction and no blast back towards the shooter at all. If anyone stands beside you they may not like it, but they won't like any brake.

Insite has done thousand rounds of testing on the aluminum version and there have been no issues at all. Since you're putting it on a hunting rifle which won't see that volume, I'd say you're 100% safe. Plus, I believe they have a money back guarantee if you don't like it. What do you have to lose?

Was told after talking to them via messenger that I would need to request the heathen lite version in the comments during purchase.

From what I've seen their website is the only place to order a heathen lite and if they're $225 plus shipping, I may go with the PVA.

Yup the online prices would be in Canadian dollars if they are on the insite website. I know Altus and OTM carries them but maybe not the lite version.
