Ultrasonic cleaners

Works really well on the bolt group, just disassemble and put into the basket for 30-40 minutes. I use the Hornady gun parts liquid cleaner mixed with distilled water. Had a Hornady 3 liter cleaner but only lasted about 6 months, I'm using an Ebay stainless "commercial unit" around $100 also about 3 liters.Mostly use it for my brass but comes in handy for pistol parts also.

Love mine. Drop the whole damn gun in and Voila!!
Had good luck with Layman concentrated cleaner.
Am thinking about using Mean Green diluted slightly, similar to Simple Green but better imo.

Normally don't buy Harbor Freight junk but after reading positive reviews and wanting to try ultrasonic on the cheap, I bought one of the HF units for I think something like $60 after discounts. Appears to be exact same unit as Lyman Turbo Sonic 2500 for $150. Was surprised at how well it worked and have used for lots of different parts cleaning. Also using the Hornady cleaner but I think just about any mild solvent will work fine.
