Unertl 15x value

What turrets does it have? All my experience says that’s close to the high end unless it has some significant history. There are some others that are versed in this stuff will be along shortly

This is as close a picture as I can find. Serial number is a 5 digit. 75xxx

Following along as I own several unertls and currently have a 15x sitting alone. 2" varmint.

You need to find out what model it actually is. There's a Yahoo groups email for unertl owners, very informative

I ended up getting the scope for 600$ plus tax. It was on a ruger no1 varmint and I got the mount bases too. I have to say I’m really impressed with the quality of the scope.

Something like this?

Note: this is Chinese 8x for Vintage Sniper Comps, the Unertl and Lyman’s are better IMO but the lenses on this new chicom stuff is pretty good.

A 22lr with 16x Unertl :) ludicrous amount of fun to shoot.

This is built off a drill receiver with an M2 bolt. The cheap mags don’t feed properly so I’m on the looking for some of the originals.

Crazy how the scopes for some of these vintage builds have become more affordable than the rifles. Who would have though guys would be asking $2500-$3000 for an -03 or a Garand.

Tell me more about this. Did you mean an M22 bolt ? What actual mags are you using?

Bolts were used in M22 Springfield’s but bought as individual bolts off CMP forum, etc. Drill receiver is opened back up and a Douglas threaded on. He made custom inserts for each rifle. Only 7 out there that I know of, 4 are single shot. Three are repeaters but the Numrich Gun Part knock off mags don’t feed properly. I think I can mess with the spring and feed lips to get it to run but I usually just single load anyway.

Was gonna ask who that unhandsone elder person was under that camo cap, it looks a lot like an much older Chris. Could it be ?
