universal decap .338?

is there a universal decapper die that will work with the .338 lapua case? Thanks

I have the bigger Lyman Universal decapper and while I've never used it on my 338LM cases, I just checked to see if a new, out of the box 338LM case would fit and it just barely does. It would be close.

For some of my fired cases with 12x cycles, not so much so.

You might just decap when you size and not fret over things.

+1 to what Chris says. In mine (both Lee Universal and Lyman Universal) it's crunch time on the bottom 1/2" of case.
I wanted to do some cleaning before resizing and have a drift punch that works perfectly, but it's still a PITA.
What do folks use to decap 50BMG rounds?

Sinclair has a universal one which works great with 338lm brass.

Yep. That's what I use for my .338LM. The suggestion to just decap when you re-size is fine for routine loading, but doesn't work for when you're trying to figure out your chamber's headspace and use a bump gauge to set up your re-sizing die for proper shoulder bump. You need to decap the as-fired case to get an accurate measurement.
