What shocked me was while the attack was ongoing a black couple, seemingly not part of the attackers, walk out while the attack is ongoing and when the attackers back away with the victim stunned and beaten this guy seeing an easy opportunity runs over and starts kicking him.

Its not that big of a shock that a gang of blacks will attack you for no reason. But when random blacks join in for no reason, I guess we have given up on diversity and inclusion.

There is no way I'd be buying anything there; just looking around the area appears high risk. Though, I remember coming back from a carbine training class and we had to pull over and get gas in an area I knew was bad and I voiced concern. However, nobody was milling about when we drove in to get petrol, but as soon as we got out to pump gas, it was as if the walls closed in. 2 gallons and we were gone at high rate of speed.

Btw it is Spring Texas not Springs. More properly Klein Texas. It isn't that bad of an area. A few miles south its worse. I went to school in that school district. Incident happened within 800 yards of a high school (not mine).

Demographics aren't too bad in that area either.

And the great 30.06 and 30.07 signs. Strict posting requirements.

Say the following exactly, in both English and Spanish:
“Pursuant to Section 30.06, Penal Code (trespass by a license holder with a concealed handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun licensing law), may not enter this property with a concealed handgun.”

“Pursuant to Section 30.07, Penal Code (trespass by a license holder with an openly carried handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun licensing law), may not enter this property with a handgun that is carried openly.”

Be posted on the property and be displayed in a conspicuous manner clearly visible to the public. 30.07 signs must be posted at each entrance, but this is not a requirement of 30.06 signs at this time.

Same in Missouri. You can post signs, but the penalty is the ask you to leave. You refuse three times and get a citation for trespass and they suspend your CCW, but now you don’t even need that because we’re Constitutional Carry.

That 30.06 sign the way it is laid out is at minimum 16x24. That is to ban concealed carry. To ban open carry same size and has to be posted at every entrance. If you don't follow the signs it is a class c misdemeanor. Same if they ask you to leave and don't.

There is no scrawling a sign with a sharpie that keeps you out.

All of the below signs have no force of law.

Would it be better to not have the requirement yeah but at least they have to work at it. At least you know where you stand before going in. Most places only post 30.07 signs.

Yeah...those "No 1911" and No Beretta 92" signs are worthless in Washington. I don't own a 1911 or a Beretta, so I ignore them when carrying concealed. The only signs with any real bight are the signs that reference the UCW chapter & section,and that sign is rarely posted on any nongovernmental buildings.
