I thought I really got lucky to get in on the Varget sale at 3rd Gen Shooting Supply. They had a few hundred pounds for sale and I bought 10lbs.
Only to find out that UPS lost my shipment of 10lbs of powder. Its been 4 days past the delivery date and UPS can only track the shipment to Arizona.
They said it is lost and can no longer track the shipment.

Lost...my ASS! This happened once before where some UPS workers were stealing "Hot" ticket items and some high end firearms.
This really pisses me off because the powder is so hard to find. I know 3rd Gen will refund my money but I really needed the powder badly, AAAAAHHHGGG!

UPS must be making PLENTY of $$ to be able to keep eating these claims. Maybe they need to start doing background checks on the reprobates continually finding employment in their shipping hubs. They never seems to 'lose' the box of baking supplies my wife orders regularly...but they have 'lost' my tools, powder, primers, an air compressor (not kidding)...

Worthless mf'ers. I would be pissed also! They have screwed me in the past also. Then when they do deliver, they knock, toss the package on the front porch in plain sight, and run back to their truck.

Worthless union workers couldn't care less.

Man, that would piss me off as you know damn well they are just taking it and selling it. Come on, really?.. What, did 10lbs of f$cking powder just fall off the truck and some kid on his bike rode off with it? Its like these 20/20 shows with TSA agents taking ipads and cell phones. Come on people! Thats some bs right there.

Lol, when i ordered my 500dollar hornady lock n load press i put a note on the front door to please place package on side of garage out of view.... Absolutely no way the driver missed the note. Mind you i live in a city on a rather busy avenue with a sidewalk and all.... Anyway, i get home after work and sitting on my front porch in plain view about 50 feet from the sidewalk is my brand new hornady lock n load press and the press is not in another shipping box! Seriously the red factory hornady box with a huge picture of the press on the box screaming take my ass before home owner comes home... Lol... I was totally amazed it was still on my porch.

And the UPS driver knew this, and still left it there. Worthless prick!

UPS, USPS, and Fed EX can pretty much pinpoint through tracking the exact local the package was lost. What they do about it remains to be seen.

As for 3rd Gen eating the cost, I'm sure they go after UPS for the bill.

I've only had one package lost in 35 years of buying shit, it was replaced, but 3 weeks later some lady stopped by the house and handed me the original one, said she had it for that time but just found time to get it to me.

Sucks about your powder. Hopefully it gets made right and you don't have to wait a long time to see some powder.

To avoid the drivers just dropping my expensive packages on the front porch and running, I signed up for a ups my choice account. Doesn't cost you anything and you can use the website to have them hold it at the ups facility, send it to a ups store (this costs like $5 I think), etc.....if I'm getting something expensive in, I have them hold it at the UPS facility and then swing by and pick it up when I want.

Also nice for Christmas/birthday gifts/etc for the wife/kids, so you can control what happens with them to make sure someone doesn't find the package before they're supposed to.

I was told by an ex UPS employee that some of the warehouse workers carry phony pre addressed labels and if something looks good they slap that label over the one on the box and it gets delivered to a prearranged drop off point . Years ago UPS left 50 pounds of black powder on my front porch in plain view of the street .Luckily it was there when I got home .

I think ti was just lost shipment, I REALLY doubt your UPS driver gives a shit about powder, when he could just pawn an ipad.

I doubt it was the driver too. It was likely the warehouse pukes...and never made it to the delivery vehicle. The things of mine that were 'lost' showed 'arrival at ___', and that was the end of it. Half of these instances were a hub in NC...whatever their main hub there is.

I despise thieves.

The company payroll I work for is delivered by Fed Ex. One thursday the delivery guy called the secretary and said he would not make it before closing time and asked if she would meet him in town. She went in and picked up the payroll and he then asked her if she would take a package to another buisness down the road from us. She took the package and delivered it and the buisness promptly asked where the rest of the delivery was.
