I am looking for a reloading tray that allows you to nicely place cases mouth down. I have been using the cardboard trays from lapua packaging and really like being able to set the cases in the tray mouth down for certain parts of my process but would like to find something a little more durable/long term and am hoping somebody on here has a recommendation. Mostly load 6.5creed and 308 for reference.
Thanks in advance!

All the stuff from MTM Case-Gard is great ... turn stuff upside down all the time with no issues. Since when does a reloading "tray" have to only work during "reloading" ... eh? Obviously these are great for transport too.
Exactly what I do.
Out of the trimmer mouth down into the case to inspect flash holes.
Flip them over onto the lid, trimmer and back mouth down into the case.
Flip them over onto the lid, prime, insert mouth down to see you didnt skip any.
Time for loading, you guessed it, flip it onto the lid.

OK, buy a MTM Case-Gard RS-S-50 for around $6.00. Cut the top off, and presto you now have a 50 round reloading tray that will hold 6.5 Creed and .308 Winny rounds case down, and still let you pluck them out by the rims.

Do not buy the one made for the 308 or 6.5 Creed as they set an upside down case too low without having the bullet in the case mouth.

I frequently use the MTM's like those above. However, if you want an actual reloading tray the Foundation Reloading Block is probably your best bet, given how tall the holes are

Actually this might be your answer, see pic

$94.99 is pretty pricey for a "reloading tray". But it is Marine veteran made so it will last "forever" or just mere minutes if a Marine Grunt Lance Corporal gets ahold of it....YMMV

Definitely works, I just like how the lapua trays almost support the whole case rather than being set just on the freshly sized/chamfer/de burred cases.. maybe I’m being too picky tho haha. Thanks🤘🏼

Just might be especially since they mention working nicely for upside down cases. Not sure I can get myself to spend that kind of dough on trays though…

I've been using these cheap plastic one's for years and they do just fine. . . even able to place .308 cases with mouth down:
