Rifle Scopes US Optics....WOW

FedEx delivered 2 spankin new ST10's yesterday. My comments are more directed to my dealings with John Williams rather than my euphoria at getting truly world class optics.
From start to finish this guy has been nothing short of a class act. One of the most customer centric people I have ever dealt with and it shows in the quality of the product produced....

Congrats. Lots of USO fans on here and I am one of them. Got to meet the guys in person at the shop and they truly are a great group of people.

They would probably be able to sell scopes that sucked just because they do such a good job with customers. Don't tell them that though.

John is da man for sure...

He sent me pics of his VW, sent him pics of mine and we chat VW's occasionally......

Plus when I inquired about a scope I ordered he was right there...

USO is truly one of the last great american companies - there were many companies like it in the 40's and 50's but greed overpowered those companies and they are either in china or went under (Or as in GM were taken over by the government).

USO will be around a loooong time if they keep it up!!

There are hide members who have had problems with USOs saying this same exact thing, that USO is making up for turning out bad scopes with awesome customer service, because they need it...

I am perfectly satisfied with my USO SN3, and I love to be able to drop in on John and Arnold from time to time just to chat (not because I need their customer service) about anything. As far as I'm concerned, you stopped being a customer, but rather a friend when that scope gets in your hands. A bit sappy but true, at least in my case.

Enjoy those ST-10s! I probably saw them when I was there on Monday.

So far I am totally satisfied with my SN-3 and can't wait to finish paying for my MST-100.

I look forward to continually exercising the SN-3.

Nice scopes, I absolutely love the ST10 I got in Feb, it only drawback is I thought I'd prefer moa/moa and now have decided to go mil/mil on my optics.....

OP, I couldnt agree more. USO is a top notch company selling world class optics with customer service to match.

Either way, many of those quality companies are gone. Unertl, etc.

This isn't just shooting gear, it's all aspects of society. It's a shame, but such is the way of things. Fake brand name clothing, knockoff auto parts, china made sports gear. We truly live in a WalMart world these days.

I just wish people would consider what they buy when they buy cheap knock off junk. Sometimes its unavoidable, but sometimes it becomes a bad habit that really damages American companies bottom line.

Then there are the companies that ship out the work, like our illustrious auto makers. Don't even get me started on those guys. Or when you get Habib for customer service.

I don't speak for the owner, but:
Consistency of equipment leads to consistency of training which leads to consistency of operation.

That would be my rationale as a shooter/collector. If I were a collector/shooter I'd try to have more varied stuff.

I have an SN-3 on my .308 if I could afford to, I would put an SN-3 on my .22. (with a different parallax range of course).
