I'm going to put this up for sale since I never shoot it - but am not sure what to ask for it. I've found them online between 2100 and 1799

it's a Remington 700P 338LM w/ Badger bottom metal and mag, HS stock. This is how they ran them from the factory. 101 rounds down the tube and I have all the brass for it. I also have 4.5 boxes of new Hornady 250grain match ammo which goes for about $100/box

I was thinking $2000 w/ the ammo and 101 pieces of brass - that seem reasonable based on what i see them selling new for?

Re: Used Value of a 700p 338LM?

I see new guns sitting on gunbroker for $1550 and they seem to actually sell in the $1400-1500 range. The MSRP is up there but in real life the demand isn't that high and some dealers get pretty good deals from volume buying. They can sell them for less than most of us pay in dealer pricing.
Your best bet is to start on the high end and come down til it sells but I'd be surprised if it sells for over $1800.

Good luck

According to Remington they were ran these with HS stocks and Badger bottoms as well as HS bottoms. This one is a Badger Bottom (M5) with a 40x trigger group.
