Just watch out for the thread root radius; sometimes it isn't undercut, and you'll need a shim just to ensure that the muzzle device seats properly against the barrel shoulder.
Thanks for the advice, and there is a relief groove in front of the shoulder.
I guess I was thinking there might be a benefit to torquing up against stainless shims, which might have a little "give" (not as much as a crush washer of course) compared to barrel steel, which I assume is harder. But I am probably over thinking it.
