Rifle Scopes USO EREK question

I recently bought a USO SN3 1.8-10 with the EREK knob on it and mounted it on my rifle. The scope was purchased second hand and came with no manual. Could one of you guys explain how to zero up the EREK knob system?

No, the EREK is an outdated, terrible, horrible, no good, very bad system, and you should send it to me for proper disposal, especially if it’s equipped with an ERGO parallax adjustment...

Thanks for the video. That answered most of my questions. Is this possible to do without a boresight collimator? Also, when making final adjustments at the range, does one still need to adjust the center hex screw or just the outer knob?

I pull the bolt and eyeball boresight as close as I can get.
You can do final adjustments with either the knob or hex, if it’s turning smoothly I like to use hex-can get the “less than .1” fine adjustment.

Thanks for the info. When you use the hex key to turn the inner turret, is it supposed to move smoothly or does it click?

Hold the outer knob and turn the 1/8 allen.
If it’s clicking you may as just be dialing.
