The pics in discussion were actually talked about today on the phone an hour ago with Jason. He knows they were getting sent to in box. But thanks

Re: USO Photo Contest

We're just judging scopes only? Correct? Because my rifle is rather plain, haven't finished it yet.. Going to have to break out a good camera for this one also.

John-
is that a USO spotting scope? Looks like it. I'm absolutely loving my USO spotting scope - I had it hiking in Rockies last week and it rocked. Super light and on a small tripod, very easy to deploy. For the price, its a very good value.

Re: USO Photo Contest

Since I couldn't afford one .....How about a picture of why buy a USO !!! or ..don't waste your money on junk ! Off of my 16" .50BMG AR15 Upper

Notice the Snapped / Broken cam Bolt on the GG&G Accucam Mount , Scope Reticule Crosshairs also broken and trashed ( lil'SoB did kick like a drunken mule !!! but I'm sure a USO would have survived !

Yes James, that is one of our Field Observation Scopes. I am happy that you like your's so much. The platoon that I was shooting the pictures of last week said they really liked it too. They like the fact that you can use sunglasses while behind the scope.

Re: USO Photo Contest

Sorry guys,

Someone made a mistake and let me take a vacation. I got back Tuesday and still haven't finished downloading the pictures from the past two weeks. I will announce the winner on Nov. 9th. I will be out of the office again on the 10th for the Marine Corps Birthday and again for Veterans day so I apologize in advance if I don't get back to any of you sooner.

I'm a little confused. From the original post I thought there was going to be more than one winner with one scope for each winner. Sort of and arrangement where if the quantity and quality of your photos are sufficient to warrant a us giving you a scope to use them on the new website you win. Seemed to me like a clever way to populate a new website with good images. I also like the idea of updating the website since I remember that what must be close to 10 years ago it looked pretty much the same. I still find it a very useful site, with a good layout and far more information than the average manufacturers site. An appearance upgrade replete with a significant number of new images will be welcomed though.

Your last post sounds like a different deal than the original. It sounds like you are giving one scope away for the single photo you like most.

Perhaps I'm the only one confused here. Been know to happen.

Re: USO Photo Contest

Sounded like one winner all along to me, but I could be wrong as well...

Kyle, whether I'm rocking an ST10 on my new 22trainer that's coming together or not, you know you guys are welcome to use any photos of my gear any time for any marketing you see fit!

Can't wait to see the new site! I try to let anyone looking to order know to call in, because I know all the cool tricks up your sleeves aren't fully represented online yet

Re: USO Photo Contest

Actually looking to buy my first real scope soon. Looks like I'll be going with an ST-22. If I had it already, I would post a picture of it, but I don't, so I can't. But, I would be willing to make a deal where I would post a new picture every day for a year if I could win this scope without a picture. I seriously doubt this would happen, but just thought I'd try.

x2 for me I've got a ST-10 on order and it's driving me crazy but two ST-10s would be AWESOME :-D

Re: USO Photo Contest

Hello Guys,

First, sorry for the delay in announcing the winner. There were a lot of great photos that were submitted for the contest. It was extremely tough to narrow down the finalists. Also I would like to apologize for any confusion from my first post. It was intended to be a single winner for the contest. However, I may have caused some confusion as to how many winners there were going to be. So without any more delay I would like to announce the two winning photo submission. These two individuals will receive a ST-10 scope with all the options listed in my first post. If you are the winner I will be contacting you individually in the next few days. Once again thanks to everyone who participated. It was really awesome seeing the scopes in the hands of the end user.
