We will also have a class the next day, Sunday. 9:00 am. same price $15. Let me know if any more are interested.

Some where I think I have posted this is a rifle clinic. Even though the principles are the same for pistol(an ex national shooting coach / ex Olympic shooter agrees)

For those interested in starting out in shooting competition or just becoming a better marksman, there will be a day dedicated to learning the basic skills of shooting. This is just the basics. No swat team training or military boot camp.

But needed skills any person must use to hit their target.

We will focus on precision marksmanship up to 1000 yards, or however far your rifle and sight system will get out to. So bring whatever you got. These skills work with most shooting disciplines. This is the time to learn and practice till you get right.

Bring all your equipment. Eye and Ear protection, shooting mat, sandbags, pen and notebook are most important. I'll have a chronograph, hand outs, computer program with printer, etc.

Let me know if you plan on attending so I can have enough handouts, targets, etc.

Place: North Springs Shooting Range, Price, Ut
Cost: $15 That includes targets and range fee.
Start: 9:00 am
End: When ever you feel like it.
We will have a little competition at about 3:00 pm to see if you learned anything.

Try to bring at least 100 rounds of ammo. The more you bring the more practice you will get. PERFECT practice will be the goal.

Any questions please ask.

Re: Utah Shootouts - comp newbie clinic - June 9

Got about 16 people who want this class. I'll be looking for a couple of people to help watch over the group.

From experience, a class of more than 3 or 4, it's not possible to give a lot of 1 on 1 attention, like I would for a normal $50 per student per 1/2 day class.

But, along with learning the basics you will learn how to diagnose your own shooting so you can immediately start improving your practice on your own. So a larger group can work.

Keep letting me know if you will be there or not so I can make arrangements at the range and have enough materials for the class.

We'll probably need to cut it off at about 25 shooters or we'll get too spread out on the range to stay as one group. I better get some batteries for my megaphone as it is.

Thanks, Clint

Getting a few on the standby list. Please confirm if you still want your spot.

Also, let me know you would like to do a small Sunday class (the day after). Or a class later on.

Going over logistics with Scott the Range Master, I think we came up with a really good plan for the class. We can handle 26 shooters.

Thanks,
Clint

Clint,

We are not going to be able to make the trip down from Logan on the 9th. Sorry for tying up 3 spots. We were excited to come play at North Springs again. We would like to have a shot at the next class. If you do another one let us know.

Thanks.
