Utah Shootouts Notice

After 2weeks of being closed, because of fires, the range it open.

We will go ahead with the saturday match.

North Springs Shooting Range, Price, Utah

July 14, 2012 Practical Precision up to 1000 yards. 9:00 am. 60 rounds.
Carbine 1:00 pm. 60 rounds
Pistol 3:00 pm. 60 rounds
$20 for the day.
ALL OF THE SEPTEMBER SO's THAT CAN BE THERE IN JULY WOULD BE GOOD.

NO MATCH IN AUGUST.

As July 1 deadline approaches. We have just under 40 shooters. SO's enough for 50 shooters. We have worked out a plan for the Course of Fire that will only allow 60 shooters maximum. Unless I get a lot of money in the next week and a half, this will go into effect July 1.

So get your registration and money in as soon as possible. I will order a few extra shirts but that's all. Food is bought the week before. No discount for<span style="font-weight: bold"> paying late</span>, you will have better luck getting a lunch included, than a shirt.

Sounds good. Hope the wild fires die down by then. I'm sittin just off highway 10, was going to the range to help out with a Rifleman Rendevous. But the road and North Springs Range is shut down till further notice. I can see 3 wild fires from here. I guess I'll go fishin. I'm not sure where, coming from slc the Manti & Scofield roads were shut down too.

I will try and be there, although my rifle might not be back from being repaired yet... I guess I can always try and kill stuff to 700 yards with my Mk12 SPR clone (5.56).

The range is still closed because of the wild fires. They seem to be getting the upper hand for now.

I'll check with the range this weekend to see if they are open or not. If they are not open by this coming Wednesday morning we'll probably go ahead and cancel the match.

I will post here as soon as I find out anything.

I'm at the range. It's open. Didn't even need to go around any "road closed" signs.

So the match is going to happen, for anyone that can still make it.

I gotta withdraw from the July Shoot. Work requires my presence tonight and tomorrow morning. I'll send you my ASO match fee and the extra money for the long sleeve this weekend.

Perhaps we can at least have a get together somewhere near SLC in August to discuss any last minute issues for the match, perhaps eat some dinner?

Sounds good. Maybe after a Park City match again. I can bring print outs of all the plans, CoF, etc. Have had a lot of input already but the more the merrier.

Hope it stops raining here soon. Too much mud might be too much fun tomorrow.
