You can camp at the range $8.00 per night. They like to lock the gate about the time it gets dark. If you get there after it's locked, jump the gate and go to the big building (the barn) just past the main cabin (office). We'll be camped out in there. You can wake Rodney up and he'll go unlock the gate so you can drive in.

Thr "barn" is the garage 50 yards east (I think) of the main house.

OK, Here are the final scores for the July 2011 Utah Shootout:
The First pic is the total overall score which does NOT include the Positional Speed Steel Stage since Squad A didnt shoot that stage. Congrats Lon on the Win with High score on the Rifle and Pistol shoots!

Thanks everyone for coming. And a special thanks to Keven and Christian for SO'ing.

DON'T miss next months shoot. There will be a few changes that Clint and I worked out Sunday for the Shoothouse, Carbine, and Presicion Rifle. You might even get to do a little crawling so bring elbow pads or long sleeve shirts if you feel the need. (Don't ask) You also might want to bring a little more pistol ammo than usual for the reactive shoothouse targets.

Yea, me too. Luckily for me its only on rifle, pistol, and carbine shooting that I need to work on.....I have the magazine loading down....


And I hate to say it...but I think I need to get a higher cap pistol for these shootouts. I love my 1911 but its hard to be competitive when you have to change mags 4 times for every ONE of your mag changes.

I may have to switch to my Beretta for now until I can come up with a ummm, well a /choke 9mm /choke.../ cough... there I said it. Don't tell Stan though.

I can't imagine having shot worse on rifle than I did in this match... I think throwing rocks would have improved my score...
