Sorry if this has been covered before I can't get the search function to work right now.

I saw a rifle in a LGS that had the utg recon flex mlok bipod attached.

It looked like a nice unit. The legs are adjustable in multiple positions, and I liked the look of the side mounted rails better than my Harris.

My question is ,with a price of only 50$ is this thing garbage or is it good to go?
Other than being more adjustable, does it have any advantages over the Harris?

I primarily shoot off the bench but also go prone, primarily target shooting
Gun is a 3rd gen RPR 6.5 creedmoor
I currently have a Harris 6-9 notched legs no swivel (cant) adjustment.

Thanks

I looked at that the other day and decided to get another Harris HBMRS. I also have the non notched version of the Harris that doesn't swivel. I prefer the speed of the notches and the swivel to compensate for uneven services. I do see a lot more rifles with that style bipod mounted at 3 and 9 o'clock. Looks solid but it also makes me he rifle seem pretty wide in an already crowded safe.

Thx for replies. After further research I'm going with the atlas cal when I save a few more ducketts.

Other than looking tacticool the utg is actually not very functional at all from what I've been reading.

Thx again glad I didn't impulse buy and waste 50$
