Doubled together. Three came in and we took the closest two.
I was setup about 20 yards from him, and the birds came in at the right angle for us to have a good chance at the double.
I saw them before he did, because they came up a draw, and I was more elevated than he was.
I switched to some very soft yelps to draw them in. When I did, he realized that I must have had visual on them, so eased his gun up and got ready.
When they committed to our direction, I put down the call and waited.
As soon as he whacked the lead bird, I stood up and took aim.
The second bird jumped back at first, but then he jumped on the downed bird and began attacking.
I had a clear and safe angle, so I smoked him.
