Maggie’s Valentines Day is Almost here

I am so thankful for a practical wife. Tomorrow, our day will start something like this: "Happy Valentine's day, Dear." "Happy Valentine's day to you." That's that. No cards, no gifts, no special meal...and at 62 sex is a definite maybe.
I am a practical guy and momma is practical too. I like to buy flowers at random times and just surprise momma with a little chocolate (like a piece or two) here and there.
I do take like to go a little crazy spoiling her at times and got her a massage set up for tomorrow. She started a new job right after the new year and has been crazy busy and stressed so a little something is in order. In 4 weeks on the job she prepped and tuned a crumbling program into one that received a major certification of excellence, not an easy task.
I do the massage thing for her a couple times a year, otherwise it is my hands working out her knots. Never a bad thing......
Remember this, March 14 is just around the corner. I won't say its a "I do this for you, so you need to do this for me" and women certainly seem to take notice and reciprocate. Doesn't matter if you do a little something sweet on Valentine's or some other random day.

If PPB tries to scratch behind my ears he'll be the worse for it. But I do admit to enjoying a nice scritch or two when I rety my turban.
I actually got mine flowers this year. She spent 6.5 hours yesterday running the snowblower because I’m on the road...in FL. Like Geno said, it’s nice to have a capable wife. Indeed it is.
Me, too. She's getting a red rose for every year that we've been a couple: not married, but a couple. I think she may break down in tears.
Can only like that once. Otherwise would more Veer. Thats good stuff.
Im not sure about the rest of you and I know my lady is nothing short of amazing.
She isnt perfect and I cannot imagine a more wonderful woman to spend the rest if my days with.

We've been married 45 years. Good years. Been long enough, that once SHE forgot our anniversary!
This year I was on an errand while she went to the store. She decided that since she was there anyway, she would buy her own flowers. She wasn't even mad. So cool. Luckiest guy in the world.

Some great thoughts and sincere appreciation for the better half members! On this special day I am going to let my wife turn the heat up to 65 degrees!
Whew! Glad I saw this thread. I gotta go get my wife a card today. That was a close one. Be back in a bit, I gotta go to CVS.
