Rifle Scopes Value of fixed power MKIV

I have a near new Leupold MKIV fixed power 16x and another 10x.


I am going to sell the 16X and am trying to determine the value. It is a 16x40 with butler creeks and 2" sunshade and TMR reticle. It has very minor ring marks but otherwise is as new. It was mounted on a 308 for about 70 rounds. what is it worth? What about the 10x? It is essentially identical but 10x.

I would figure around $800.00 for the 16x and maybe around 750.00 for the 10x. I dunno really I could be really low on the values, I am just gauging what they are compared to some of the other Leupy's here on the Hide.

From what I see, the fixed powers sell for more than the variables. Apparently they are the true MKIv's, from what I am reading.

Thats true, I went and looked back at them as well. I never was any good at really pricing things out.

If you want them to sell $8-900 is were they need to be.They are good scopes just not as desirable as in the past being fixed power.

I was thinking around a grand to $1100. They are like new and considered very good scopes. Thanks for the help.
