Value of used brass

Am sitting on a bunch of once fired factory ammo brass I have been collecting over time with the thought of eventually reloading, well that hasn’t panned out so I was wondering what is the real value of it.

I got about 600-700 maybe more hornady 6.5 Creedmoor (American Gunner) and about 60 pieces of Prime 6.5 Creedmoor. Also a lot of 5.56/.223 mostly Hornady Frontier which I believe to be lake city brass mixed with FGMM and Black Hills. All brass has been fired from bolt action rifles.

.30 cents each or $30/100 for the creedmoor and .04 cents or $4/100 for the .223/5.56 seems reasonable.

Fired brass varies by caliber. Your 6.5's are worth more than your 223's. Look in the for sale section on here and a few other forums for ballpark ideas. Right now 223, 9mm and 40S&W sell for slightly more than scrap prices. Matching headstamp brass known to be once fired will bring more, at least a little more, than mixed headstamp range brass.
