    Last I checked, we don’t live in a country where just because the POTUS says something in a presser means it’s law.

    The only ones who aren’t going to escape this nonsense are the military members. This bullshit won’t last long on the DoD Civ side. …not so sure about contractors though.

    Right now word is that our Chaps is backlogged like crazy with religious waivers to go through. Too bad though because it’s all for show. 1000:1 they’re going to blanket deny religious waivers for the DoD.

    My company says if you have medical or religious exemption; you may not come into the building and you will be placed into the "short term contractor" stage.

    I don't want it, I have natural immunity, why do I need it? If you have yours, why do you even care if I had one? And I love needles, especially the big 3" ones the podiatrist uses in my heels!

    My religious waiver is most definitely getting denied so I’ll be out of a career soon. Oh well. Time to sell my feet pics on “OnlyFeet.com” and retire early.     Join the club bro. My last shift at the hospital is next Thursday. Had covid last spring. I have natural immunity as per my blood draw, still want to do another from an different lab just to have multiple. Ridiculous really.

    The legislative branch is granted the power to make the laws, not the executive branch. Please also see the separation of powers. The "fed" is not a single all powerful entity. Do you think Biden can direct the BATF on what guns are now illegal? Or the FCC on what radio stations are allowed on air? The only thing the president has the power to do is direct, is how to follow the rules on the books. He doest get to tell them to make new ones.

    Sorry to hear. You missed my comment in portajohn about how in a meeting today, the guy giving our meeting today divulged he has COVID (telecon) and at some point he started talking about 20% of people who were bus drivers for school not vaccinated and the kids who are not vaccinated as the reason he got sick...claiming they were inside a petri-dish.

    Our company just got a letter from one of our customers stating we need to have our employees 100% vaccinated because they are a supplier to the federal government (military contract) so as a sub-contractor we need to be compliant with the mandate. Not sure how this is going to go, as about half of our 12 employees are not vaccinated and will not get vaccinated. My guess is we will opt out of supplying them with our services, and if it ends up affecting our bottom line, everyone will take a hit at least on bonuses, if not a salary reduction (depending on the percentage of income the company loses). We offer a pretty unique service, so I'm not sure what they may be able to do to replace us.

    Scared of needles, what a laugh. I’ve been forced to take experimental vaccinations before that are now banned, not doing that shit again. I get real vaccinations for real diseases, not fake and ineffective spoof shots for little head colds that just give me a nice relaxing break from work.

    I work as a consultant for a smaller defense contractor. We got a memo today that summarizes the new rules for federal contractors and links to the government website where these rules are published. The company mentions in the same memo the ongoing legal challenges to these edicts, that we can file for exemptions, and asks for our patience as they work out how to comply with these mandates. I guess they are holding out as long and as much as they can. I do not expect them to close their doors and fire everyone over this.

    There is also this interesting statement in the published rules, my emphasis added with underlining:

    Q13: Must the order’s requirements be flowed down to all lower-tier subcontractors and, if so, who is responsible for flowing the clause down?

    A: Yes. The requirements in the order apply to subcontractors at all tiers, except for subcontracts solely for the provision of products. The prime contractor must flow the clause down to first-tier subcontractors; higher-tier subcontractors must flow the clause down to the next lower-tier subcontractor, to the point at which subcontract requirements are solely for the provision of products.

    Maybe I should just deliver and bill the company for a completed product rather than for a service. It does not state how complex that product could be. If push comes to shove, I'll finally retire as I could have years ago. I'll miss the creative challenges of this gig but hopefully building a nice house from scratch -starting with my ow trees- will keep me from deteriorating for a while.

    Really though, is it gay to sell pics/videos online if even men are buying it, but you don’t participate with them it’s just capitalism right? Heard a conversation about this the other day and some of these women make a million a month.

    A MILLION A MONTH, I’d sell pics of my feet and butthole for that too haha.

    Senate has to approve GFOs. The House determines GFOs counts. The impacts of mandates and wokeness on readiness will lead to a vertical stroke all the way down into the O6 and O7s ranks as well as the Senior Enlisted. There are a number of Congress members who are former military and they are making lists.

    Yep. This came up in the executive call two weeks ago and we voted to ignore it. If it comes down to it, we'll force them to cancel us and then we will sure in Federal court for breach of contract.
