Hey all,
I was offered a copy of the H&K 94 built by Vector Arms. Good deal, but still alot of $$$$. So does anyone here have any experience with them, and would it be a good purchase or not?
I have wanted a 94 for a long time, but not if it's a pile of crap.

Re: Vector Arms

I have/had a couple Vectors, also still have a 94. Not knowing what your "good deal" is in dollars, I would wade cautiously. Vectors can be awesome-but for similar dollars now, you may be able to do more high quality factory HK parts(922R compliance in mind) on a new receiver flat built by Parabellum Combat Systems or Dakota Tactical.

Of course the least risky investment may be in a factory 94, I love to shoot mine- the long barrel with some Hirtenberger +P is what makes me giddy. (when my wife quits hogging it!)

Re: Vector Arms

Different firearm, but I owned for a couple of years a Class 3 Vector Mini uzi select fire.

It was the most reliable and easy to maintain weapon I have ever owned. I sold it only because I had a son needing college money, and I was currently very underemployed. I was very impressed with the way that firearm performed. Very accurate considering that it was an open bolt subgun with a MASSIVE (blowback) bolt slamming forward AFTER you pulled the trigger and before it fired!

I have read writings by knowledgeable writers that the Vector arms copies of the Uzi's were actually a lot better than the originals in every way except one: they did not come with that storied history that the IMI originals came with.

Re: Vector Arms

My Vector 94/MP5k is very finicky with mags. Not as tight as I would have expected it. I use it as a host for my trigger pack. When I find a mag it likes it's great, but it takes some trial/error.

Dakota makes good stuff.
