I donot think so , donot get the compass version , unless you have a use/need for it , ie the ballastics program uses it , or you intend to use it with a GPS etc , for the tgt grid .
The compass adds greatly to the cost , as you are aware .

The C option cannot be added to a 10. There is no data port on a 10 or 15, just the 10C and 15C.
